Within the Amazon Rainforest and any other land must have and should have 4 main elements to keep it alive. These are Relief, Climate, Vegetation and Soil. Let’s analyse what each elements function is.
The first element is Relief; relief is the shape of the land. Without relief, the amazon jungle won’t exist. The Amazon spans an incredible 8 countries for a total area of 2,700,000sq m
Another element is Climate; climate refers to the weather in an area. The Amazon jungle is a Tropical rainforest. It is located near the equator which makes it a very humid place. In summer the Amazon has “wet wet” conditions; this means it can continuously rain for long periods of time. The amazon also has a “wet dry” climate; which is humid weather. Without the element of climate the Amazon will wither and die out leaving all land-based species to be homeless…eve resulting in death.
Vegetation is all about the plant matter and trees within Amazonia; from the tall emergent trees to the low shrubs. Vegetation plays a vital role in the prosperity of wildlife AND the rainforest itself. Without any vegetation; species will starve “why?” because it’s one of the main sources of food and shelter. Every year logging industries deforest the Amazon taking a chunk the size of Brazil!
Soil….SOIL….SOIL!!! very very important for the plants to grow. The Soil allows for more trees to grow (Natural habitat). Without any soil In the Amazons trees and vegetation can’t grow; soil is the foundation of the habitats that allow species to survive.

One main element is the relief. The Amazon basin has a very unique land shape. This is because the land has been formed from a fault scarp to one side. Amazon basin has beeen formed from the build up streams and rivers in the Amazon.

Thats it guys !! :D

A landscape is a very special place or location. Well to my understanding it is land or place. Well for any landscape, there are 4 main elements that make up a landscape which are relief, climate, soil, vegetation.

Firstly the function of relief is that it describes the shape of the landscape and it is formed. For example, Auckland is made up of steep hills. So relief is about the shape of the landscape or how it formed. I would call it the foundation of a landscape.

Secondly the function of climate is declared what the weather is like or the situation of a landscape in terms of where it is located and what it is like. E.g. within the Amazon Basin the climate is described to be as "wet, wet" or "wet, dry" which means it is really rainy there.

Thirdly the function of soil is to make the plants or trees within the rainforest grow. Soil is made up of dead trees, branches, trees, insects, birds and others. This has to do with the growth of the trees but the main soil found in the Amazon rainforest is the parent soil also known as alluvium.
The elements are found in any landscape.

Well one main element is the relief or the shape of the land. The Amazon basin was formed by the movement of tectonic plates and erosion of the Brazilian Plateau and the Guiana Highlands. In the Amazon Basin there are different types of landforms including the Andes Mountains, the basin, etc. Without the relief there would be no shape to the Amazon Basin and overall no Amazon.
Another main element is the climate. The climate in the Amazon can be described as “wet, wet” or “wet, dry”. The humid weather in the Amazon results in the Amazon being constantly wet. The function of the climate in the Amazon Basin is for the welfare of the plants and provides water for the animals. Without the climate it would be impossible for the plants to grow.
The vegetation is the third main element in the Amazon Basin. Types of vegetation found in the Amazon include epiphytes, vines, etc. the function of the vegetation is to provide food for other animals and natural habitats. Without the vegetation, other species would become homeless and there would be no Amazon Rainforest.
The soil is a very important element in any landscape. In the Amazon, the main soil is called the ‘Parent Soil’ also known as Alluvium, which consists of dead leaves, branches, animals and other things. This creates a fertile soil. Without the soil, dead stuff will not decompose for the plants to grow and there would be no layers in the Amazon rainforest.

The four main elements in the amazon rainforest are relief, climate, soil and vegetation. The relief is the shape of the land. Without relief, the amazon jungle won’t exist. The next element is the climate; the amazon rainforest is a tropical rainforest, it is located near the equator, in summer the climate in the amazon is wet wet, which means the amazon would be raining for long period of time, there is also wet dry in other words meaning humid weather. The other main element is vegetation; vegetation is all about trees and plants, vegetation also plays a role for the species that live in the amazon because most species eat from trees and without trees they have nowhere to live and have nothing to eat.

The last element is soil, soil is very important because without soil trees and plants wouldn’t be able to grow, and when there are no trees or plants the species would have nowhere to live and survive. The soil mostly found in the amazon is called the parent soil also known as alluvium. Those are the main elements that make up the natural landscape.
